Out-of-Pocket Clients

A deposit is required to secure your consultation and reserve the materials needed for your custom unit.

- The exact amount will be determined after your consultation, based on your selected style and unit type.

- Your deposit is applied toward your final balance.

Insurance Clients (currently unavailable) 

If you are using insurance coverage for your cranial prosthesis:

- A deposit is not required once coverage or payment from your insurance provider is confirmed.

-If you wish to begin the process before insurance payment is issued, a refundable deposit may be required to secure materials and scheduling.

-Deposits will be fully refunded once insurance payment is received.

This policy ensures that all materials and appointments are properly reserved while maintaining flexibility.

-FSA / HSA Cards (Accepted with a doctor’s prescription for medical wigs. Purchases may be eligible for reimbursement through your FSA or HSA plan)

-Installment Plans via Afterpay or Shop Pay

Insurance & Reimbursement

-Ija’s Beauty is currently out-of-network with insurance providers.

-Clients may be eligible for reimbursement for medically necessary wigs.

-We provide support for submitting a Superbill and a Letter of Medical Necessity if your insurance allows.

- Assignment of Benefits (AOB) is optional — signing it allows us to submit claims directly on your behalf. If not signed, clients may submit the Superbill themselves.

Pre-Authorization (Optional)

-Clients may request pre-authorization to see coverage before payment.

-Pre-authorization is informational only and does not replace payment.
